MAS Context and the Illinois Institute of Technology College of Architecture are organizing the Chicago book launch of Max Bond: The Life and Work of the People’s Architect with a talk by author Brian D. Goldstein. The program will take place at S. R. Crown Hall, home of IIT's College of Architecture (3360 South State Street, Chicago, IL 60616).

A Q&A with Irene Sunwoo, John H. Bryan Chair and Curator of Architecture and Design at the Art Institute of Chicago, will follow the presentation.

Goldstein, author of Max Bond: The Life and Work of the People's Architect, in conversation with Steven Nelson, inaugural Executive Director of the Sam Gilliam Foundation, professor emeritus of art history and African American Studies at the University of California, Los Angeles, and former dean of the Center for Advanced Study in the Visual Arts at the National Gallery of Art, Washington, DC
